Royal Agha is the Director of Engineering at Millrock Technology, where he engages in the design and the development of freeze drying solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Royal brings with him Millrock’s three generations worth of knowledge in the design and specification of freeze drying equipment. Royal graduated from State University of New York in 2015 with a BS in Electrical Engineering.

Abstract
In the freeze drying world, most of the work and literature published is related to vial freeze drying and does not touch on some of the differences that are only seen when working with bulk materials. This webinar will highlight some of the most common challenges users face when freeze drying bulk material as well as some of the features that users should be attentive to when selecting a freeze dryer to be used in a bulk application. We will highlight the most important freeze dryer features and available technologies useful for the development and processing of bulk material.
